Wanted to buy a TV but ended up not to because Staff at TV section had no interest of helping to give us information. Looked first at a few TV's and priced matched and then made a decision. Found a sales rep very quickly and asked if a TV we wanted would be available and were told that the one we wanted was not the one in the box. So we looked for alternative. Sales rep did not follow us nor did he show any interest in sellling a TV. Went back up to the same sailes rep to inquire about another TV and we were told that that was sold out even in the Province. I asked if there were any alternatives and he looked but didn't find anything. Started chatting with his colleague. We clearly showed interest in buying a TV and even going up in price but the sales rep ignored us after we asked our questions and did not show any interest in selling, and since we had to walk up a fourth time, we decided not to buy anything. I don't believe that is a way of making business and turns customers away. Very disappointing experience.

Staff is reasonably knowledgeable and do their best to get the right product to meet your needs. The Geek Squad try their best to help out when a problem arises and take the time to explain things to you. I do miss the larger movie section that Best Buy stores used to have but that isn't the fault of this location.

Dealt with the Sherway gardens location about a defective receiver. After a few weeks I called only to have endless ringing phone calls that no one picked up. So I called and just let it ring and after about 10 minutes someone picked up the phone and disconnected the call. When I talked to the store manger he said everyone must have been busy. Sure, best buys are known for being busy Monday mornings in February (that would be sarcasm). Plus, basically his excuse is they don’t have enough staff to answer the phone. That’s not what he said but implied. I think if you are going to put your phone number on receipt You should have staff answer the phone. When I got my receiver back they said there was nothing wrong with it. But when I got it home sure enough the issue was still there. I skipped going back to BB and took it a Denon repair Center, sure enough they found the problem. What good are extended warranties if they don’t repair the problem. I will never give a penny to Best Buy again.
