  My first trip to Artist's Friend was to have a 50" x 65" vintage poster framed. The owner, Terry, was in the midst of packing the store as they were moving to a new location later that week. Given the circumstances and the size of the job it would've been totally appropriate for Terry to ask me to come back once they were set up in Clarkson, yet it was quite the opposite. Terry welcomed me graciously, set aside the packing, cleared the work table and took the time to try many options before I found the perfect frame. His recommendations for matting and finishing touches were spot on. The finished product was exactly what I wanted and expected! I've since returned to have another 50" x 65" vintage poster framed, in addition to a few smaller pieces. The large pieces required custom mats and acrylic, which not surprisingly come at a price. For the other more standard sized pieces I've found Artist's Friend pricing to be a good value. I highly recommend Artist's Friend for your framing needs. They also have some creative shadow box examples on the walls worth checking out.
