  I thought I would give The Beer Store another chance after a bad experience at another location, but I give up. I was in the neighborhood and thought I would drop in to see if this was a rare self-serve location so I could actually browse the selection, but unfortunately it is not. They have tablets you can use to see what they carry, but after a long day at work I gave up after a few seconds. I use computers all day and the last thing I want to do is fiddle with one to buy my beer, so I waited in line. With only 4 people in front of me the process is incredibly slow. They seem to take the order of 1 or 2 people and then go to the back to retrieve it for the customers. Why not have another person in the back bring it out like the old days? Were they short of staff, or is this yet another "new thing" they are trying now? When I finally reach the front of the line I wasn't even sure what I wanted, but quickly decided I would try Sleeman since I hadn't had any in awhile. "Twelve Sleeman Dark" I told the lady at the counter. She tapped on her touch screen for a few seconds and replied, "We don't have that." Since I wasn't sure what else to order, I asked if she had any other Sleeman in stock, yet I was instantly met with a blank stare. She couldn't recommend nor could she even tell me what other Sleeman they carry or possibly have in stock. If you can't spell out exactly what you want, the staff here can't help you as they have ZERO product knowledge and only know how to tap on the pictures on the touch screen. No more beer store for me!
