  The evening started out good. Friendly waitress. Then the onion soup came. Mine tastes more like the water left over from boiling clams. The meals were the steaks. They mixed our orders and both steaks were cooked wrong. We didn’t get steak knives and we asked for the waitress back and it took so long we had to go get help. The guy heated up my husbands steak and I can only guess mine was reheated somehow. The steak was supposed to be a fillet and looked like the wrong cut. It was long and stringy and very tough. The veggies were soggy and I got rice instead of mashed potatoes. No taste to the food. My husbands steK that was reheated had no taste. We couldn’t finish the meals. Too awful. The cake we chose was good, no surprise. We were never offered an apology for the poor food and not offered any discount for it. Would never go back.

  I’ve been here many times. Lately the service has been terrible. In my opinion I think there should always be someone standing at the front to greet people but there never is and you end up standing there while someone at the bar (if you’re lucky someone is there) to tell you “just one second” Past few times I’ve gone there to get breakfast before 12pm and every time they don’t give me the breakfast menu so I have to wait at my table because the service isn’t the greatest and or get up to ask for one. The food is good. I’m a really big fan of their breakfast potatoes! The servers we have had before were not happy and don’t make you feel welcomed. The server recently was really nice and friendly although she never checked with us if we were enjoying our food and when we were done she was too busy cleaning the bar to notice that we have been waiting a good 15 mins so that we could get the bill. I had to get up and ask someone for my bill which I really don’t like doing but I had enough waiting. The service needs to step up their game and make people feel welcomed and be more attentive. The decor is okay - the chairs are very uncomfortable and worn out. I always ask for a booth so that I don’t have to torture myself by sitting on those old chairs.

  First and last visit to this location or any Symposium. It was with a group of 10 which understandable can be difficult to coordinate. Nothing in the evening went right. Took multiple asks for drinks, if they arrived at all. Menus were not cleared and empty glasses piled up. All beers on tap tasted completely watered down, something most of us have never experience. Took over an hour for appetizers, then another half hour for meals. Meals were cold, dry, and portions were small. On top of that, it took 10 minutes for everyones meal to come out so everyone could finally eat. Absolutely disappointing birthday gathering.
