    I liked their friendly smiles at first but there is, in my opinion, unprofessional and crafty staff, specifically the manager, the guy who stands behind the computer in the printer section. Long story in short: your time is not valued and they might see you as a stupid ATM. The story: Came here last week for a Canon printer, asked if the rebate offered by Canon and the Vistek store discount can be combined. The discount and the rebate were both listed on the vistek website but he didn’t know there was a section that lists all rebates available to their items on their own website. well I then helped him to find that rebate centre. Didn’t expect much until he said he thought that combination could be done. He was so slow that I waited for more than an hour for him to double check, and the result was he didn’t know and had to ask another colleague. I was grateful for his help so far. He then asked my info and said he would call and email me by next Tuesday, which never happened. so I came to the store again. Two long drives. Met him and was told the combination of the rebate and the discount was doable, but! he needed to double check and he didn’t know why his colleague hadn’t connected me. Okay! it didn’t matter who was responsible for that and why he still knew nothing about it from his colleague. I still felt I was being helped, although he had not solved any problem of mine. Then there was another over an hour of waiting! He operated his computer, got some documents, then brought me to another female staff and let her to operate the POS machine for me to pay, while not talking anything about the price. He left to his computer. The other staff was not friendly and just straightly told me the price i needed to pay. The price was higher than their listed discounted price! I was surprised! She told me the discount and the rebate could not be combined. okay... why not just tell me and say sorry but, instead, let the other staff operate the POS machine? Why would I even be their if the price was higher than their listed price? The guy seemed to have completely forgot why I came to the store. I went to ask him about it. He said the combination might not be done but he needed to double check again! then he started taking care of other guests. Finally he seemed to have no other customers to attend to, then he checked and told me it could not be done... I said okay... sorry i wouldn’t pay cuz i thought the discount and the rebate could both be applied. At that point, two hours had gone in vain... twice visits to the store, over 3 hours of waiting. The point is he absolutely knew why i went there but he just tried to let me pay for the printer in a higher price and pretended to know nothing... wow... are they crazy and not seeing anything but money? That’s what happened and you may judge in your way, but i wouldn’t be so upset only if they had just not let me pay. it’s okay to wait for more than 3 hours in my own willingness and it’s absolutely okay they make false estimates; yet the staff did not seem to feel sorry by any means. He just “professionally” checked with his colleagues, took care of other customers at the same time, treated me like a fool by letting me pay more without saying a word... I couldn’t help to mention the fact that the other customer the staff entertained right after he said he would check for me was interested in printers about a thousand bucks more expensive than the one i asked. well it’s the first time i tried to get a printer and go to a Vistek. I didn’t know how much a photo printer could do for me and Vistek just coldly pushes a potential customer away. I would rather spend those money on Animal Services instead of in any of the Visteks. This story has to be known. Nobody deserves their treatment with indifference.
